Algae Tec 's demonstration facility will operate by 2012.

Algae.Tec is a biofuels company which focuses on commercializing technology to manufacture green jet fuel and biodiesel from algae. The founders of Algae Tec. have developed a technology known as the McChoncie-Stroud system which can capture carbon dioxide from power plants and manufacturing facilities, which in turn is supplied to the algae cultivation system.

The company’s full scale demonstration facility meant for third party validation, process optimization and marketing will be operational by the first quarter of 2012. - read more
