Solar LED portable lamp

A newly developed solar powered LED lamp, ‘Wakawaka’, is compact, and can be folded into a rectangle while charging. It can then be unfolded and placed on a flat surface or can even be hooked to the top of a plastic bottle which can be used as a stand. The light can also be used as a mobile phone battery charger. The portable lamp can provide 16 hours of light with one day of charging. Only a few prototypes of the $ 35 lights are available at present. - read more
