India’s Suzlon tones down year-long guidance

From a previously announced 240 billion to 260 billion Indian rupees in expected revenues for the fiscal year 2011-2012, Suzlon is now looking at 210 billion to 220 billion rupees. Lower volumes are the result of an extended monsoon in India, grid infrastructure delays in China, and a procedural delay in closing our new working capital facilities.

Despite this, Suzlon remains optimistic that strong order momentum will ensure the company's position in the wind turbine market and deliver nearly 40 % growth in revenues in the next fiscal year. - read more
