Duke investigates carbon capture technology

Duke Energy is conducting an engineering study to determine the feasibility of applying Huaneng Group's carbon capture process at the utility's Gibson Station in Indiana. The newly expanded three-year agreement furthers their research of advanced coal and carbon capture and sequestration technologies. Project funding is being provided by the U.S.-China Clean Energy Research Center (CERC). - read more
