Green Mountain Data Center, Norway - 23 Dec 2011

Green Mountain Data Center, Norway, will use cold water from a fjord to cool its computers. The data centre, which will located inside concrete buildings within caves that has been carved into the side of a mountain on the island of Rennesoy, will be naturally cool due to its location, but will use the fjord water to further cool its facility. The first phase of the facility will cover 75,000 sq ft.
