India witnessed the test-drive of the country’s first vehicle running on B-100 biodiesel produced from marine microalgae on March 30th, 2012.
The 200 kms test drive was successful and though the current cost of the fuel is at Rs 175 per litre, the government expects that the fuel price will come down to Rs 75 per litre.
