Divyajeychandren shared a picture Wireless solar charging for electric buses 4 months ago
ATC Solar Curve Bus Stop concept is being developed by Studio Mango for the city Noord-Brabant, Netherlands, which would allow inductive charging technology at existing bus stops, which will enable electric buses to recharge each time they stop to pick up passengers.
The concept calls for installation of 15.5 meters of solar panels on top of a bus stop’s roof, which would convert sunlight to solar power throughout the day. The curved roof would be sufficiently tilted down to enable wireless energy transfer to buses using inductive charging, which employs the use of an electromagnetic field to transfer energy.

Unfortunately their statement has a base. According to Roos and Veighburge data the total emission of carbon fibers producing is 3.0 10^9 kg/yr; cast iron and steel producing is 1.6 10^9 kg. To this must be added 3.7 10^9 kg of sulphur oxides emission from non-ferrous-metal industry.

Mitsubishi Chemical Corp has developed a spray-on technology, wherein specific carbon compounds after being sprayed, dry and behave like semiconductors producing electricity from the solar energy. The efficiency is only 10 percent which is lesser in compared to the 20 percent of the conventional type. Yet the Chemical Group believes that through further research it could increase the value to at least 15 percent in the future.

The possibilities for such a spray on technology is immense...just imagine it for a moment, and you can come up with so many cute and wonderful ideas. Why, I might even spray it on my laptop covers and mobile phones, and the batteries can get charged from solar. Endless, exciting possibilities
