Punjab govt for promotion of kitchen gardening

The Punjab Agriculture Department has decided to promote kitchen gardening to gain self-sufficiency in fruits and vegetables.

Agricultural experts will impart training to trainers in a one-day training session on July 2 at Cotton Research Centre. Besides this, the government will also provide 170,000 packets of vegetable and fruit seeds while the district governments, agricultural experts and local NGOs will distribute these packets.
