I am sorry I cannot provide any "case study's" - I would suggest though that there would be countless amount of anecdotal evidence that this would be possible - and be beneficial - it would be a very simple process - gather your raw material - cold dry it and get some fatty acid profile and then you would expect that what ever is in your waste greens will then be transferred to your birds - could be a very simple cheap process - and allway maintain the KISS principal. I hope this is of some help !!

Answer this question / Share a link@gaya3 - the method you are suggesting viz., searching for individual companies - could be a pretty arduous task... I think a smarter way could be to figure out apex bodies interested in bio-products in your country. These will typically be not-for-profit associations with most of the relevant companies being members... As you are from Kenya, I did a quick search and came across Green Africa Foundation - http://www.greenafricafoundation.org/ . This appears to be an apex body with a number of organizations and companies being a part of it - http://www.greenafricafoundation.org/section.asp?ID=10 . Some of the organizations listed - such as the Kenya Forest Working Group http://www.kenyaforests.org/ for instance - could have further additional members...you get the idea Guess you will still need to do a day or two of online research, but this method in my opinion could be much faster... Hope this helps
