Growing up in Tanzania I have always been made aware of the fragility of the environment that I grew up in. Too many times have I seen villages and schools suffer because of lack of electricity and I have always felt that through educating myself in the field of renewable energy, I could someday return to Tanzania and end the problem of power shortages that has been considered to be a characteristic of the country. |
