How does Nualgi work?

Nualgi is a powdered supplement consisting of all essential micronutrients. Presence of these essentials in nualgi, facilitates the most common phytoplankton in water. Sudden boost / bloom in the growth of diatoms in about 3 to 5 hours prevent the growth of harmful algae like blue-green algae. This helps in reducing the toxic substances in water and enriching the water with live feeds for zooplanktons. Is Nualgi all that is required?

For 1 kg of nualgi requires 2 kg of urea, 100 g of DAP and 100 g of yeast to be mixed with 100 liters of water to achieve better dissolution of the products. If the water contains good amount of nitrate and phosphate use of urea and DAP is not necessary.


What is the quantity of water covered by using 1kg of Nualgi and frequency of use?

Use of 1 kg of nualgi is sufficient for 4000 cubic meter of water. Nualgi can be used depending on the requirement and usually used once in 3 or 4 days. One can increase or decrease the amount of nualgi use depending on the water to reach desired result.


Is it economical?

Yes, use of nualgi is economical as it facilitates the growth of food for fishes and also increases the oxygen concentration by utilizing carbon dioxide. Because of its ability to sustain live food reduces the expense on fish feeds.
Remediation of water does not require electricity like other techniques used today because the use of nualgi triggers the natural cycle of life in water.
